At Sunny Futures, our mission is simple: to help create a better future through education
In rural Uganda, education is not free. Students must pay mandatory school fees every term to remain enrolled. For many families, the $23 CAD term fee—along with the $55 cost of a required school uniform—is out of reach.
As a result, vulnerable youth are forced to miss school or attend without proper uniforms, placing their education, confidence, and long-term opportunities at risk.
You can change this. For $23 CAD per term, you can sponsor a child's education. For $55, you can gift a student a full uniform and a pair of shoes, providing them with comfort and confidence.

EDUCATION PROGRAM
In many countries across Africa there is a mandatory fee for children to attend school. These mandatory fees are due every semester. The fees are an expense many poor households cannot afford, leading to the continuation of poverty, as children are unable to attend school and obtain an education. School fees, a new uniform, and school supplies are covered in this program. Learn more about how you can get involved and the impacts to date.
GENDER EMPOWERMENT
To foster inclusive and sustainable development, we support the education and training of women. We believe that women and girls are the cornerstone of transformation. Our programs rely on gender mainstreaming to understand how men, women, girls, and boys will be impacted by our programming which works to make communities more inclusive and equitable.
