Founded in Ottawa, Ontario and officially incorporated on August 19, 2017, Sunny Futures began with a simple idea: education should never be out of reach.
What started as grassroots support for families in Uganda, Tanzania, and Zambia quickly revealed the deeply interconnected challenges of poverty.
In response, Sunny Futures expanded its work to support not only children’s education, but also the well-being and empowerment of women and girls—helping families build brighter, more sustainable futures.
